I got the incredible opportunity to visit Rittu for a second time.

This time, I came for a ‘personal retreat’ and to learn Reiki 1 & 2.

I wanted to come with no expectations, as the first time I saw Rittu it was, simply, transformative!

I wasn’t sure that was quite possible a second time round.

I was wrong.

This time together, although different, proved as healing and as transformational.

I was in the most challenging place I’ve ever been in after dealing with a series of losses.

Usually optimistic by nature, I felt depressed and my anxiety was uncontrollable. After 6 months of therapy and medication (which helped to a degree) I knew if I wanted to really process my losses properly, I needed to see Rittu.

I’m so happy I trusted my intuition. It’s the best investment I could have ever hoped to have made.

Now I feel like I can finally move forward and step, happily, into the next chapter of my life.

Reiki is a beautiful gift, whether using it for your own self healing or for facilitating the healing of others. I wish everyone could have access to this age old modality.

I know I’ll be back to visit Rittu. And for anyone that gets the opportunity to see her - count your blessings!

Just wow. It's hard to find the right words for my Reiki experience with Ritu. I did my Level 1 and 2 with her in Manali and it was so much more than what I had been looking for. A self-healing process, knowledge that goes beyond all that I have experienced so far, and opening up to a space of connection, love, and healing. It has been like diving into a world of new possibilities, new understandings, and redefining one's life. I'm so grateful for all the deep knowledge Ritu has shared with me in these 10 days, the gentle way of her teaching, and being there with and for me. I look forward to continuing my level 3 and 4 back in India with her very soon!

I had my first and second degree in Goa with Rittu . I was amazed by her way to teach and to make the things easily processed by the brain . In the beginning i didn’t know about Reike healing and i didn’t believed in Energies… Rittu made me change my mind about that and that changed my life , i started seeing the world with a totally another perspective and made peace within myself… so after 8 months i came again to her in Vashist to have my 3 and 4 degrees what was one of the best decisions of my life . Vashist is a perfect place to learn Reike not forgetting the wonderful views and places you will see there and learn more about yourself. So grateful to have Rittu as a teacher every day passing was a new discovery …

J'ai suivi l'enseignement Reiki niveau 1 et 2 à Arambol avec Rittu en ce début d'année (janvier 2020). A la base j'étais un peu sceptique quant à la discipline Reiki en raison de l'image négativement connoté et grandement codifié. Rapidement, je me suis rendu compte que l'enseignement de Rittu est d'une grande qualité et justement, elle sait rendre cette discipline flexible en raison d'une sagesse indéniable.

I've studied reiki with Rittu, from level 1 to master's level, first in vashisht and then continued a few months later in goa. I've wanted to meet her in india since I heard about her when I was 11 y/o, and the dream finally came to reality when i was 23. Turns out the universe designed me to have this dream for a very good reason...
What it's like being Rittu's student is more than what this review can describe.
Her wisdom and experience seem to be endless, and she brings it to her students with her genuine love, compassion and amazing humbleness.
She's the kind of teacher that will be there for you, for any clarification and guidance you need on your personal journey, always with a beautiful, loving smile and a generous hug. She's one of the maybe-not-so-many out there that teach reiki thoroughly and seriously, helping you to truly become a healer for yourself and for the world, working with pure light and love energies.
Whenever she was teaching, I felt like my job is to silent my mind and just absorb as much as her knowledge as i can, letting it sink down from my ears, onto my heart and into my whole being.
Through her, I received precious tools to practice and to enhance my inner work, tools that will surely be with me for the rest of my life (or maybe lives..).

It's her birthday today. May you be blessed with many more years. I am pleased to have met you and took my reiki 1 and 2 tutelage in 2018 from you in Arambol. As they saying goes"Dynamites come in small packages" you are a true dynamite. Could nt resist the warmth I felt the first time had to come back and do 3 and 4 again in Arambol 2020... I guess I could describe my life before and after Reiki happened to me, that is before and after I met Rittu. The universe had led me to her in Vashist, where I shortly after our acquaintance realized that she was my teacher and that I was drawn to Manali only to meet her and learn Reiki. The level 1 & 2 courses had opened the basics of Reiki healing for me and it helped me tremendously in releasing inner blockages and understanding my own energy better. Some months after finishing the courses I noticed that there were deeper layers inside me that needed healing, but I couldn't quite reach it yet, or fully understand the depths of it. Then I came to Goa. Rittu was in Goa and being my teacher and friend I wanted to drink a cup of tea and have a chat. This was of course again a meeting of perfect divine planning, as it became clear after like 5 minutes that I was going to join her in January 2020 for the level 3 & 4 Reiki retreat. The way that this retreat has enriched me with healing techniques, with beautiful experiences, with a greater and evergrowing understanding of my own self and of the way that energies communicate and most of all with all the incredible stories that Rittu generously shares with us, is beyond measurement. She has such an unbelievable amount of experiences and to every question we ask her she will have an example in the form of an amazing story, of which we believe every single word, however unbelievable it may sound, as this is Rittu and when you'll meet her, then you'll know. Learning from Rittu is like sitting with your favorite aunt or grandmother, having a cup of tea while listening to the most wonderful stories, asking everything that comes to mind and being answered by an endless source of experiences and knowledge. These courses are beyond plain knowledge or techniques, they've changed me and therefor my whole life so profoundly that I might just describe my life before and after I met Rittu. Completing Reiki 3&4 with Rittu had been a dream since I did my first two levels with her in Arambol. This time I wanted to visit her in Vashisht. What an incredible place! The view from my room was beautiful, surrounded by the greenery from the apple orchards, the river below, mountains and snow capped peaks towering above.

The retreat was a personally challenging, yet rewarding experience. What I love about Reiki is learning to look inside and get to know myself truly and work deeply using the different techniques and meditations. There was a lot to take in, learn and practise but Rittu paced the course according to my needs so I always felt supported and confident.

Always a life changing experience with a wonderful, kind and generous teacher. Thank you Rittu!

I had the chance to do my reiki master with Rittu, level 3 and 4. I had done 1 and 2, 10 years ago with her, and for me it was obvious to come back to vashisht to finish.
I spent intense moments at the personal and energy level. Rittu's approach is good and complete. We go to the bottom of things in meditation and care: because in addition to reiki, we work with crystals and we learn much more! Throughout the retreat, she guides us in our advancement to work on oneself and become a good reiki caregiver.I advise to all people who wants to live this unique moment of the fact with Rittu and especially vashisht, in this beautiful setting, surrounded by mountains, in an atypical village and filled with a beautiful energy. I spend with Rittu a total of two wonderful weeks in Vashisht, by Manali area! At first I did the personal retreat which was enormously rewarding. I had never done such thing and it was a big treat to myself. It open my eyes to many close doors in my life! Then, as Things Just “flow” in life and happen when they need to happen.... a Reiki course was happening right after and I decided to join.

So, out of the blue I was “head in” focused and studying Reiki level 1 followed by Reiki level 2! Another super amazing experience. I am not interested in giving sessions on a regular basis, but in helping people here and there and for my own well being. You LEARN SO MUCH and TOOLS FOR LIFE!!

I completed Reiki 1&2 , followed by crystal healing course and it was so much more than just classes; the course discussions keeps getting more meaningful with time as I find myself remembering and relating to them in my everyday.

Rittu's way of teaching is so engaging and honest, sharing her own experiences and helping you re-see your own in new light.

She is one of those people that once your meet, stays in your heart..like a twinkling little lighthouse guiding you to uncover all the shining jewels inside yourself and encouraging you to discover new shores waiting to be explored. Wow such an amazing experience with a lovely lady! Ritu is kind warm patient and allows you to see yourself in a whole new way! I spent a week In my own personal spiritual retreat and completed my reiki 2, I have to say it was one of the best things I've ever put myself into. I am normally the person that people come to for support and guidance and rarely seek it from others! However ritu gave me such insight into parts of myself that I never knew were affecting me. She helped me see how my life and experiences had shaped me into the person I am today and showed me a way to love myself! She helped me with the things I expressed to her and picked up on the things that I didn't. Her calming caring nature is lovely to be in the presence of! Ritu can provide you with th stools to move forward and be happy in your life but it's you that needs to implement what she teaches you!

Couldn't recommend Rittu enough! This was the second time I travelled to India to do my reiki degree's with her & it certainly won't be the last. I've had Reiki healing before but nothing as profound and transcendental as with Rittu. I was opened up to a year of embracing opportunities which helped shape some important life events. I returned a year later to be a Reiki student and was once again overwhelmed by the journey i took. Leaving with the ability to process lifes obstacles and heal any imbalances along with Rittu's warm and wonderful guidance leaves all the makings for the brightest future.

I spent a wonderful 5 days with Rittu in Arambol doing Reiki 2. Rittu's extensive knowledge on Reiki combined with her loving and nurturing demeanour made this experience life changing for me. Just before Christmas I travelled back to Arambol especially to see the amazing Rittu and take the Reiki 4 course! The year before I had undergone such immense transformation through reiki 1-3 and had been practicing reiki since then on myself and professionally and I felt it was time to be able to share this beautiful gift not just as a session but to enable other people to practice reiki! It was such a pleasure to be welcomed back into Rittu's loving hug and be guided, taught, inspired and nurtured through the reiki 4 course. And I couldn't have done it without the loving support of Rittu! Never before I thought about Reiki or what exactly was. However, last summer I just found by chance Ritu Sood and Reiki. A friend I made in India just suggested me to try Reiki and I accepted as I like to try new things. This naïve acceptance lead me to meet what I think one of the most beautiful and intelligent woman I have ever met. I had a session of Reiki with her and after it I just knew that I had to meet her. I had to go back to work as my holidays finished but I knew that in one way or another I had to meet her. After 6 months I could meet her and to me this was magical. We spent 5 days together and I believe, that there is a before and an after in my life after these 5 days. Cleaning, enriching, understanding, feeling and healing among other things that really makes worth meeting this amazing woman. I can't wait to learn Reiki 1&2 together with her. Nine months ago certain events and challenges brought to light weaknesses deep within me I was not aware existed.

Rittu helped me to understand these weaknesses, their origins and the lessons behind them. In the 7 day Personal Retreat Rittu helped me to let go of things I was holding onto and taught me the skills needed to move forward.

I now appreciate EVERYTHING that has happened to me, both good and bad. I see the beauty in every aspect of life and am learning to change patterns.

I am returning this year with my little brother, so he too can have this experience.

Like many others, I have travelled far to see Rittu. After I had completed both my reiki 1 and 2 studies with Rittu in Arambol I knew I had to do come back to complete level 3 as well. When the time came for me to do so, Rittu was in Manali, so there I went. It turned out to be a good desicion to do all 3 levels as every level allowed me go deeper into my spiritual journey in general and my reiki practice in specific. Ever since I embarked on this journey Rittu has always felt present to me, no matter if she was or not.

Rittu takes on clients and students from all over the world and seem to have a way to get through to almost anyone, which is impressive considering the differences that are bound to be there when any two people meet. I believe her practice and teachings can be for anyone, anyone who is willing to recieve and learn that is. Among many other things, Rittu is a great master. She is full of light and her love and compassion is universal. From what I have seen and experienced, Rittu is also a clear mirror to anyone whom she incounters. The reflections I've seen taught me alot about myself.

When I use to read in books that Master is the one that guides us to the path of light ,I never realised that a day would come when I would experience n meet my guru ,who would change my outlook towards life in such a positive manner. Rittu Ma'am your words ,your blessings n your guidance is eternal and timeless.Your healing n counselling has altogether made me a bright and positive person.Thank u so much for your love ,care and guidance.Here I would like to thank Chandar sir also,thank u so much sir for your precious time n those jokes that use to make me laugh like I had never before. The first time I set eyes on Rittu I knew that my life was going to be changed for ever.
I studied Reiki 1 and 2 with Rittu in Arambol in January 2015. I then went back to Europe and worked at a yoga retreat centre where I practiced Reiki for 6 months. I couldn't wait any longer and returned to India in August 2015 and spent over a month training with Rittu. I studied Reiki up to the Master level, as well as Karuna Reiki and Past Life Regression. This second experience was even more life changing than the first.
Rittu doesn't teach from a book, she completely represents what Reiki is and offers and she makes you live and feel it. She gives so many hands on opportunities that you will feel the love and light around you all the time.
She has taught me and helped me heal so much that I carry a little part of her light everywhere I go. I hope I will be able to go see her in Vashisht again very soon.
If you're not sure wether you should go study with Rittu or attend one of her healing retreats, the very fact that you are on this website is a sign that you are heading in the right direction. You will never regret meeting the most loving person that is Rittu.

I would just like to express to you how grateful I am that the universe guided me to you. You are such a great role model for the type of healer I aspire to be. I spent 3 months with the wonderful Rittu learning reiki and receiving my Master Certificate in Reiki healing as well as Karuna Reiki 1&2. This beautiful healing journey has brought and continues to bring an abundance of gifts! When I came to Rittu I was very lost. Head up in the clouds so to speak. No idea where I was going and what I was doing... Well that all changed when I began reiki 1 and 2. Clarity and purpose is only a small gift that Rittu and reiki gave me. I am one of those lucky few who have been blessed to meet and learn from someone like Rittu. Oh my word. Words. I humbly offer my gratitude and love to her for helping me out in a really tough, but real time in my life.
I believe that Reiki is a way of life. I am learning now how much more profound my awareness of energy is, and I know this awareness is growing with Reiki.
I see my life run like a river. So in seeing my river flow, being the painter that I am, I see Rittu: The Grand Master Sage of the Rivers,(another name for you) standing on a bend of the river-bank. Her smiling face reflecting on the water, twinkling. For me she stood there with Rose Quartz in her hand and we dredged the river clean by watching the water flow, doing reiki 3 and 4. Many profundities emerged, and now I am sure I know more about the turns in the way my river bends thanks to the universe and Rittu. In everything, Rittu empowered me, inspired me, and challenged me to move into my new growth and healing with commitment. Our one-on-one time together through-out the whole 3 weeks was what I really appreciated. Already many changes made during the training have translated into purer flow in all I paint. In 2007, when I first met Rittu and was introduced to reiki, I could not imagine than my whole life would change than much. I mean that since the day I was introduced to reiki, I gave my life new orientations. My path became clearer and I started to really walk on it.
I enjoy and discover reiki more and more everyday since, and I absolutely love it.
I give it to myself, my famille, people, and everybody is lighter after a session.

My experience with Rittu was the best soul and life enhancing journey I have ever done. Her wisdom and knowledge so divinely guided, allowed me to start a new chapter in my consciousness, and reiki has been the key to unlocking new doors of my perception. I have been wanting to learn Reiki for a few months now however had no intention to do so on my last trip to Manali. While i was stumbling across the beautiful hills of Vashisht, I was magically drawn to Rittu Ji's Reiki Center. On my first meeting with her, I knew that this was it. The energies had brought me to my teacher, my guru.
Learning Reiki 1 & 2 with Rittu Ji was a special experience and it just so happened that I was alone in the course so I had an opportunity to really go deep with my learnings and have my questions answered - and I really did.
I am back home now and have really stepped into my power. The learnings are still integrating and I am applying my new skills to benefit myself, my family and my community at large.
I am blessed to have learned from such an enlightened being who so unconditionally shares all that she knows.

I travel a lot around the world, yet India was never one of my top countries to visit.
After meeting with an Israeli medium, one thing led to another and I found myself holding a flying ticket to India in my hand.
Amazingly, I chose Rittu's center in Vashisht, by simply letting my instinct lead me after googling "Reiki teaching master".
I didn't know a lot about who she was or what she is doing in her center, but I felt it was the right thing for me.

After studying & practicing Reiki 1,2,3 & Karuna Reiki 1+2 in Israel, eventually I've decided to join Rittu's 1 week retreat & study PLR afterward.
Despite my fears and worries, dear Rittu & Chander made me feel at home from the moment I landed in their house,
making sure I feel comfortable, safe and smiling at all times.
Lucky for me, the universe allowed me to enhance my experience and I end up having a personal retreat after several people canceled their attendance.
It was indeed an eye opening week for me.

I spent this last winter in India doing all kinds of training, but meeting Rittu and learning all about Reiki 1 and 2 with her is the most amazing thing I brought back from my trip. I have met many Reiki masters before but Rittu was always meant to be my teacher. I am so lucky I met this full of love lady and I'm really looking forward to going back to India in the fall to continue my training.
I've also done a passed lives regression and some meditation sessions with Rittu and really recommend it all.
It was all a huge eye opening experience

When my Dad decided that it was time to start taking care of himself and living life again two years after my mother passed away I would have done anything to help him with the process. I had already been seeing a psychologist and had found it very helpful, I knew we couldn't do it on our own. Dad had heard about "spiritual retreats" which immediately peaked his interest, and not long later we found ourselves in a personal retreat in the beautiful Himalayas in Vashisht.

The process was not easy, and I never knew seven days could feel so long but Rittu TRULY changed both of our lives. Every day I saw a little more weight come off my Dad's shoulders and she taught us the tools to continue to improve for the sake of ourselves and the ones we love. I cannot thank Rittu enough for the dramatic effect she had on my Dad and family!

I, as well as dealing with the grief of losing my mother and best friend have been in the throws of disordered eating for 10 years now. As I sit here writing this on my computer back in Canada I feel like a different person. My friends say I look happier and healthier than they have ever known me. When I told my psychologist she was ecstatic, she told me to continue on this healing journey and she is there for me should I ever need anything from her.

The journey is long, and I know life with throw more wrenches at us, but I am in a place right now where I know my own personal strength and that of those I love can overcome any negativity and turmoil. The work continues now that I am back at home, where we all knew the hardest part of the journey would be.

Rittu, you changed our lives!! I can NEVER thank you enough you are the most amazing person! Dad and I are already longing to come back for further learning!

I was new to reiki when I came to India, a friend of mine was doing the course with Rittu and was saying how incredible it was. Rittu made time to see me and explain the course details and we agreed I should do level 1 and 2.

I have never looked back since. I had the best teacher who enable me to channel the energy which I had always felt since a child into helping others and myself. The course content was taught brilliantly, it all just made perfect sense. Following the course I now practice reiki on myself, friends, family and people who come across my path who ask for it.

I have so much love for Rittu she feels like family to me and I can't wait to return to India and complete level 3 and 4 with her.

Wow..an incredible 2 months spent learning Reiki with Rittu...I could not have asked for a better teacher. Her warm, understanding and non-judging approach made me feel like she’d know me and my life situation forever.

I’m still trying to digest the transformation that has been taking place since meeting Rittu, the Reiki cleared out old repetitive mind patterns and made space for a new learning, increased inner awareness and way of being. I was able to connect with my true self, detox emotional baggage and settle inner conflicts, bringing a sense of peace and calm. Instead of living in my head it has brought me into the present with enthusiasm for whatever is around the corner.

Rittu has changed my life. I recently experienced a personal retreat with her and feel as though I am seeing the world through new eyes. I flew into India from Finland only to see Rittu for Reiki 1 and 2 courses. Shortly after I met Rittu, I was convinced that I wanted to join the Retreat for a week as well. When I went to India in 2011 I had very little knowledge about Reiki. Since I was travelling with a friend who was interested in doing the course I decided I would join, just to keep myself entertained. We selected the place to learn randomly. We knocked on Rittu´s door because we saw a sign in a street in Arambol. Little was I to know at that tim...e that my view of everything around me would change. Meeting Rittu Sood was a fascinating, intense and profound experience. Everything learnt in the Reiki lessons made perfect sense. I was at the right place at the right time.
A different Cecilia came back after that trip and many things in my life have changed too.
Meeting Rittu and learning Reiki is about meeting yourselves. If you ever have any chance of travelling to India, you can´t miss her.

Rittu changed my life. With her amazing and stunning character, with so much love, intuition, strength, her wisdom, her empathy and her ability, to always know what to say and to advise, with never saying to much and thus always giving room for growth for one self.

Where I found a place of unconditional love with a family the first time I came to India, this time I've found one of those rare places with Ritu and Chandar. I got my 2nd degree in reiki with Ritu. The classes (and everything around them) are amazing, Ritu is teaching very passionate about reiki and whatever other things she is teaching and she has a very intricate and deep level of knowing and understanding things. That's why we every so often still say: 'Ah yes, Ritu knows..'. Wow, what an incredible journey and what an incredible woman! I was guided to Vashisht and to Rittu's reiki centre, and Im so glad that i followed my intuition. In the time I spent with Rittu I learnt so much about life, love, self acceptance and trust. I had part of this knowledge before, but never as experiential knowledge which is what i gained from Rittu. Reiki for me transformed all of what I knew and more into a deep understanding, with which I could make solid lasting changes in my life for the better. I appreciate and love Rittu not only because she passed on her knowledge so patiently, passionately and sincerely, but she is also an awesome chick to hang out with! I did Rittu's reiki levels 1 and 2 in Vashisht. She is truly passionate and committed to teaching reiki thoroughly and with as much time as it takes. I also was priviledged to take part in Rittu's healing retreat in Vashisht. I mus admit, it was really difficult and I felt a whole of of emotions including joy, rage and despair during this week. It is now about a month later and I feel wonderful - ALL of the tasks we set (Rittu gives homework - you'll be busy - trust me!) I have either accomplished or made a great headway into. This is big stuff - forgiving family, guilt, painful childhood 'stuff'. I beleive that the work done in that week was at least as effective as the 5 years of one-on-one NLP-based therapy I have participated in in my home town, Sydney. Thankyou Rittu - I'm happy to be emailed with any questions anyone may have about my experience.

Rittu is so so lovely. from the first u know u are with someone who does not judge just loves and most importantly knows what she is talking about. this provides an essentially productive atmosphere for learning and receiving and giving. u feel comfortable straight away and to be honest i did not want it to end. i felt truly focused for the first time in so so long, and know i just am waiting to go back to finnish my course.
